Free 1:1 tutoring for low income elementary students in the Bay Area
Organization founded by young people for young people, serving the underserved youth of the Bay Area by providing free tutoring to low income elementary students in math and English.

Offering free tutoring services to low-income elementary students in the Bay Area whose academic success has been hindered. Tutors are exemplary high schoolers who meet with students to provide mentorship and tutoring weekly on zoom.

OUR FOUNDERS
JESSICA YOUN
Jessica is an active advocate for equitable, transformative educational resources. She is passionate about giving back to her community through social justice and decided to take her own initiative by co-founding Learn4TheFuture after many years of community service. Her favorite part about Learn4TheFuture is watching students grow exponentially every week!

SHAUNA LINDHEIM
Shauna’s passion for education and belief in empowering individuals through knowledge led her to found Learn4TheFuture. After growing up in Oakland, California, she witnessed educational inequity first hand, and desired to make an impact in her community. She founded her organization with a future-focused mindset based on preparing individuals to succeed throughout early education and beyond.

GRANT BARMMER
Grant’s passion for spreading education is what drove him to co-found Learn4TheFuture. As an Eagle Scout, he has been trained in leadership and empathy and knows how important it is to be taught the foundations of math and english. He loves seeing kids develop foundational educational skills and later watching them deepen their knowledge.

Roxie has always loved learning herself and wants to help younger kids enjoy learning as well. She want every individual to feel confident in their abilities in school, and looks forward to being apart of Learn4TheFuture this year.

Andy has been involved in promoting equitable education since youth. He has tutored various students and loves to see them achieve their full potential in academics and beyond. He’s so excited to be part of a program that will give students the resources they will need for the rest of their lives.

Derek is a Boy Scout and is eager to get involved in his community in as many ways as possible. Through Social Media, Derek hopes to expand Learn4TheFuture and maximize its impact.
